Blackfoot River

The Blackfoot River is hands down one of the best rivers to fish in Montana. We are lucky enough to have it right in our own backyard. The scenic Blackfoot River has a stonefly hatch that is hard to beat and it’s lingering effects continue well into the summer feeding some of Montana’s biggest cutthroat. Salmon Flies and Goldens are mainstays from mid-June to well into July and their continued abundance can only mean one thing, big trout! Add a couple rainbow or brown trout to the mix and great fishing days are easily made.
